Within close proximity to the Hungarian city of Sopron the starter’s gun will be fired for the NATURATHLON 2009 in the morning of 19 August, between 06.00 am to 09.00 am.
From here the Naturathletes have to master several daily stages along the European Green Belt to Point Alpha near the former inner-German border between Geisa (Thuringia) and Rasdorf (Hesse).
From Point Alpha the cycling route runs in a south-west direction via Frankfurt and Karlsruhe to Strasbourg to the European Parliament.
